EUROVISIÓN 2018 EN LISBOA

Hola querid@s!! Recién llegada de Portugal, donde he acudido al LXIII Festival de la Canción de Eurovisión os cuento mi experiencia, que esta vez ha tenido lugar en el Altice Arena de Lisboa. El lema de la edición fue “All Aboard” («¡Todos a bordo!») y fue acompañado de un emblema principal representado por una caracola y una colección de doce variaciones gráficas que mostraban diversas formas de vida marina. En conjunto se representaba la “diversidad, el respeto, y la tolerancia”, según palabras de los organizadores, uniendo la temática oceánica al pasado de exploración marítima de Portugal y al presente de Lisboa como «puerto de culturas y sonidos»…

Hi, dear! Recently from Portugal, where I attended the LXIII Eurovision Song Contest, I tell you about my experience, which this time took place at the Altice Arena in Lisbon. La presentación de esta edición estuvo a cargo de cuatro mujeres, magníficas profesionales que con su presencia y sus cambios de looks crearon expectativa: Daniela Ruah, Silvia Alberto, Catarina Furtado y Filomena Cautela. Ellas fueron la sensación de la noche…

El país ganador fue Israel con la canción “Toy” interpretada por Netta, aunque las apuestas estuvieron muy reñidas al final junto a la cantante de Chipre, Eleni Foureira y su canción “Fuego”, sin duda, una de mis preferidas junto con Suecia, Austria y Estonia …

Los representantes españoles, Amaia y Alfred con “Tu canción” si bien lo hicieron perfecto, no consiguieron finalmente llegar a transmitir a toda Europa la magia que habían creado en Operación Triunfo ya que quedaron en el puesto 23… A este respecto y gustándome mucho la pareja, ya dije (aquí) quien en mi opinión era mi cantante preferido de OT para acudir a Eurovisión …

Me gustaría destacar también el diseño del escenario, que fue encargado al escenógrafo alemán Florian Wieder quien ya había estado detrás de la creación de los escenarios de Eurovisión en cuatro ocasiones y estaba inspirado en la historia marítima de Portugal, concretamente en los cascos de los navíos, con varias estructuras circulares en suspensión que lo envolvían y con formas onduladas que recordaban al mar. A diferencia de escenarios de ediciones anteriores, no se emplearon pantallas led ni proyecciones de imágenes como fondo; ya que según palabras de la producción se pretendía centrar la atención en los artistas y las canciones y dar un rol especial a la iluminación y la realización…

Mi precioso vestido aguamarina en encaje y varias capas de tul era de mi diseñadora favorita, TERIA YABAR y lo acompañé con complementos suyos en color azul porque me recordaban los motivos elegidos por Portugal referidos a esa destacada tradición marina…

Por último deciros que, para mí, lo mejor de toda la noche, fue el Opening Act que hizo Portugal con Ana Moura cantando “Locura sou do fado” y Mariza con su “Barco negro”, fado sublime en una noche inolvidable….

Y, por supuesto, la actuación final de Salvador Sobral con su canción “Mano a mano” junto a la que hizo con Caetano Veloso, en otra versión maravillosa de su “Amar pelos dos”, la canción ganadora en Kiev 2017, de la que ya os hablé (aquí)…
